The General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises, also known as ‘Monsha’at’, in partnership with the E-commerce Council, has wrapped up an e-commerce focused event at the Business Support Center in Al Khobar, which was attended by a range of experts and specialists in the e-commerce field.
The initiative aimed to bolster entrepreneurs by allowing them to leverage services and facilities offered by relevant entities through interactive dialogue sessions and specialized workshops delivered by a cadre of professionals. These activities were intended to foster entrepreneurial culture and capitalize on the significant investment opportunities provided by e-commerce.
In a move to enhance and develop the entrepreneurial ecosystem and support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within the e-commerce sector, Monsha’at signed two cooperation agreements with the Electronic Warehouses platform and Paydo company.
The event included a keynote speech from the E-commerce Council and featured dialogue sessions that discussed promising technologies and the future of e-commerce. These sessions also highlighted the importance of e-commerce in various government sectors to aid small and medium business owners. There was an emphasis on identifying challenges faced by SMEs in e-commerce and providing suitable solutions to overcome them.
The roundtable also offered a variety of training programs covering numerous e-commerce topics, exclusive services, and offers for entrepreneurs from the participating entities. Additionally, consultants were available to provide advice and support to entrepreneurs and beneficiaries.
