The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority, known as ‘Monsha’at,’ successfully concluded their Investment Week in the Fashion Sector as part of their Business Weeks series. Collaborating with the Fashion Association, the initiative aimed to elevate awareness among owners of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and budding entrepreneurs about the promising investment opportunities within the fashion industry. This series of events was held across various enterprise support centers in cities including Riyadh, Jeddah, Khobar, and Medina.
The Investment Week featured a gathering with the Enterprise Support Council, graced by the presence of the Director of Strategy, Policy, and Business Development at the Fashion Authority, Ammar Boqary. He elaborated on the authority’s efforts and initiatives to bolster entrepreneurs and SMEs, highlighting programs that support the growth of local fashion brands.
During the session, which saw robust participation from entrepreneurs and industry enthusiasts, an open discussion unfolded between the authority’s representative and attendees. They exchanged views on the major challenges they face and expressed their aspirations for further support from the authority to propel their pioneering fashion projects.
Exhibitors, consultants, and advisors showcased their services and supportive programs for entrepreneurs across various fashion domains. The meetings covered the latest clothing manufacturing techniques, production process enhancements, and insights into future opportunities and trends in the fashion sector.
