stc Bahrain, a leader in the digital technology sector, has announced a collaboration with inspireU from stc to implement a startup support program in the Kingdom of Bahrain. stc group aims to empower local entrepreneurs by offering them a chance to join this inspiring program and become integral to the kingdom’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The accelerator inspireU focuses on information and communication technology (ICT) and digital innovation, with the goal of stimulating economic growth, fostering a culture of innovation, and creating job opportunities. Through this partnership, stc Bahrain is furthering its commitment to supporting the Economic Vision 2030 and the startup community, contributing to the acceleration of economic and digital transformation.
Originally launched in Saudi Arabia in 2015, inspireU is a pioneering business accelerator and incubator focusing on ICT and digital innovation. Since its inception, it has supported over 110 startups with investments exceeding one billion Saudi riyals. The ventures fostered by inspireU have benefited more than 50 million users and created over 660,000 job opportunities in the digital economy. Additionally, the market value of investments and financial transactions for the incubated companies’ products and services has surpassed 15 billion Saudi riyals.
On this occasion, Engineer Khalid Al Otaibi, CEO of stc Bahrain, expressed delight at the launch of the program in Bahrain. He emphasized stc Bahrain’s sustained commitment to supporting local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and providing a conducive environment for their growth. He also noted that the innovative program would be a significant milestone for the kingdom’s startup ecosystem by boosting the digital economy, creating jobs, and supporting local content by transforming entrepreneurial ideas into successful businesses.

He assured that inspireU’s support would be pivotal in accelerating and empowering innovative businesses by focusing on their development. The inspireU program aims to enhance entrepreneurship, foster innovation, and nurture innovators in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain.
