The General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises, known as ‘Monsha’at’, is set to commence ‘Finance Week’ in collaboration with Saudi banks from May 19 to May 23. This event will take place at the business support centers in Riyadh, Medina, Jeddah, and Khobar.
Finance Week aims to shed light on the most significant financing initiatives and programs that support entrepreneurs in enhancing and expanding their businesses. The event will also feature a group of distinguished experts in the field of small and medium enterprise (SME) financing and entrepreneurship, including the CEO of the Social Development Bank, the acting CEO of the Small and Medium Enterprises Bank, and the CEO of the ‘Kafalah’ Loan Guarantee Program. They will discuss the major challenges SMEs face in obtaining appropriate financing and the latest financial products in the sector.
Over 43 governmental and financial entities will be participating in the week’s events to showcase their services, initiatives, and financial products to owners of small and medium enterprises and entrepreneurs. Additionally, exclusive offers will be presented throughout the week.
The week will feature a variety of physical and virtual meetings, success stories in the field, and is designed to raise the knowledge level of entrepreneurs by introducing financial solutions and the requirements to obtain them. Consultations, guidance, and workshops will also be offered to promote the sustainability of small and medium-sized enterprises.
The highlight of Finance Week will be the signing of a series of agreements and memorandums of understanding between Monsha’at and various financing bodies and specialized companies. These are aimed at establishing financial and awareness programs for SMEs, contributing to overcoming challenges faced by these enterprises to support their expansion and business growth.
