The Saudi General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises, “Monsha’at,” is hosting the Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC) finals in partnership with the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Foundation “Misk” and the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN). This event features the top 100 startups from around the globe.
The EWC finals, offering a total prize pool of $1 million in cash and in-kind rewards, aim to attract innovative projects. These finals will take place during the “Biban 24” forum in Riyadh from November 5-9, under the theme “Global Destination for Opportunities” at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center.
This competition, the largest for entrepreneurs in Saudi Arabia, seeks to boost local investment, attract foreign investments, and highlight promising opportunities. It also enables partners and supporters to achieve their goals.
Monsha’at organizes the EWC finals in Riyadh, featuring the top 100 startups worldwide, in collaboration with Misk and GEN, with prizes up to $1 million.
Finalists were selected from over 16,000 applicants across 151 countries, who excelled in national competitions and a global training camp. The top 100 startups will compete in the “Biban 24” finals.
Since its inception in 2019 by Misk and GEN, the EWC has seen participation from over 420,000 entrepreneurs from 200 countries, with a total of $4 million awarded in prizes.
Sami bin Ibrahim Al-Husseini, Governor of Monsha’at, emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship in the economy, aiming to positively impact both the nation and the world by equipping future entrepreneurs with essential tools for success.
With prizes up to $1 million, Riyadh will host the EWC finals, featuring the top 100 startups from around the world, aiming to attract leading projects and investments.
The EWC provides a platform for global projects to compete for the title, highlighting opportunities in Saudi Arabia, and offering training, networking, and access to support platforms. The competition focuses on providing moral and scientific support through necessary training and resources, fostering connections between emerging entrepreneurs, experts, and investors.
