Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises, known as “Monsha’at,” is hosting the EWC Entrepreneurship World Cup finals, featuring the top 100 startups globally. The event offers financial prizes totaling up to $1 million, along with various in-kind rewards.
Partnered with the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Foundation “Misk” and the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), the finals aim to attract pioneering projects and will take place during the “Biban 24” forum in Riyadh from November 5 to 9 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center.
The Entrepreneurship World Cup is the largest event for global entrepreneurs in the Kingdom, designed to stimulate local investment, attract foreign investments, and highlight promising opportunities. It also aims to empower partners and supporting entities to achieve their goals.
Out of over 16,000 applicants from 151 countries, the finalists were selected after succeeding in their national competitions and participating in a global training camp. This camp brought together the top 250 companies with experts and enablers, ultimately selecting the best 100 startups to compete in the Biban 24 finals.
Launched in 2019 by the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (Misk) and the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), the Entrepreneurship World Cup has seen participation from over 420,000 entrepreneurs from 200 countries, with total financial prizes reaching $4 million.
This competition invites global projects to compete for the title, highlighting opportunities in the Kingdom and offering unique chances for training, networking with entrepreneurs, and accessing supportive platforms. It aims to enhance the skills and capabilities of entrepreneurs, helping them advance their innovative ideas in the global market.
