World Cup for Entrepreneurship
The World Cup for Entrepreneurship is the largest event for global entrepreneurs in the Kingdom. It aims to stimulate local investment, attract foreign investments, and highlight promising opportunities. It also enables partners and supporting entities to achieve their goals.
Finalists were chosen from over 16,000 applicants from 151 countries, following national competitions and a global training camp that included the top 250 companies and experts. The best 100 startups will compete in the Biban 24 finals. Established in 2019 by the Misk Foundation and GEN, the competition has engaged over 420,000 entrepreneurs from 200 countries, with total prize money of four million dollars.
Sami bin Ibrahim Al-Husseini, Governor of Monsha’at, stated, “We are pleased to host the World Cup for Entrepreneurship again in Riyadh. Entrepreneurship is central to our economy, and we proudly aim to positively impact the Kingdom and the world by equipping future entrepreneurs with the necessary tools for a more prosperous tomorrow.”
The competition is open to projects from around the world, offering a chance to compete for the title, receive training, meet fellow entrepreneurs, and access support platforms. This helps develop the capabilities of entrepreneurs, refine their skills, and advance their ideas into effective global market projects.
