Saudi Arabia will host the Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC) finals this November, featuring the top 100 startups globally. Organized by the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha’at) in partnership with the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (Misk) and the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), the event aims to attract pioneering projects with a total prize pool of $1 million in cash and other rewards.
The finals will take place during the “Biban 24” forum in Riyadh from November 5-9, promoting Saudi Arabia as a global hub for opportunities. The EWC, established in 2019 by Misk and GEN, has seen over 420,000 entrepreneurs from 200 countries compete, with $4 million awarded in total prizes.
Selected from over 16,000 applicants across 151 countries, the finalists underwent a global training camp with 250 top startups, narrowing down to the best 100. These finalists will compete for the grand prize at “Biban 24.”
Monsha’at Governor Sami Bin Ibrahim Al-Hussaini expressed pride in hosting the EWC again, emphasizing the role of entrepreneurship in the economy and the goal of empowering future entrepreneurs with the tools for a prosperous future.
The EWC offers a platform for global projects to compete, highlighting promising opportunities in Saudi Arabia. Participants benefit from training, networking with industry leaders, and access to supportive platforms to refine their skills and develop market-ready projects.
