In a remarkable display of entrepreneurial skills, three Sabya Education Department students emerged victorious in the esteemed ‘Riyadi’ entrepreneurship competition at the ministry level.
Details reveal that Talal Al-Maliki from Othwan High School secured the gold level accolade, while Ilyas Al-Maliki from Al-Qa’qa’ Middle School claimed the silver level. Lujain Al-Fifi from Al-Adwain Middle School completed the trio’s victory with a bronze level win.
On this joyous occasion, Osman bin Mohammed Musmali, Sabya’s Education Director, extended his congratulations to the winners. This program equips students with the necessary skills for entrepreneurship, fosters a culture of self-employment, builds students’ character, boosts their self-confidence, and encourages initiative and ambition among the pupils. Musmali expressed his gratitude to the parents, schools, and educational offices for their support and encouragement of the students’ endeavors, wishing everyone continued success and guidance.
The Education Ministry announced the competition results following the conclusion of the final qualifiers hosted by the General Administration of Education in Al-Baha at the Student House. The event saw the participation of 64 students from middle and high schools, along with 40 coordinators representing 40 educational administrations from across the Kingdom.
It is noteworthy that the ‘Riyadi’ program is part of the Entrepreneurship Project in general education aimed at enhancing leadership and production skills within the educational environment. It strives to provide a competitive atmosphere, prepare students for the job market, support the Kingdom’s ranking in the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor, and contribute to achieving the objectives of Vision 2030.
