A report by the National Labor Observatory (NLO) highlighted a significant increase in the workforce within the private sector, with the total number of employees reaching 11,409,348 in June. This uptick is indicative of the private sector’s allure and its consistent development in generating job opportunities.
As per the report, the total number of Saudi citizens employed in the private sector during June stood at 2,340,877. Male Saudi nationals accounted for 1,383,079 of these employees, while female Saudi nationals comprised 957,798. Conversely, the total number of foreign residents working in the private sector was 9,068,471, including 8,692,051 male residents and 376,420 female residents.
The report also sheds light on the net job growth for Saudi citizens in June, noting that 16,598 citizens joined the private sector for the first time.
