The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has achieved the 48th position globally, scoring 34.5 out of 80, in terms of patents registered by Saudis in the year 2023, according to the Global Innovation Index.
Switzerland secured the top spot followed by Sweden, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Singapore. Within the Arab world, the United Arab Emirates ranked 32nd, followed by Qatar at 50th, Kuwait at 64th, Egypt at 86th, and Algeria at 119th.
