The General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha’at) is organizing the EWC Entrepreneurship World Cup finals, featuring the top 100 startups globally. This event is in partnership with the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (Misk) and the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), offering financial prizes up to $1 million and various in-kind rewards to attract pioneering projects.
The finals will take place during the “Biban 24” forum in Riyadh, themed “A Global Destination for Opportunities”, from November 5-9 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Center.
This competition is the largest event for global entrepreneurs in the Kingdom, aiming to stimulate local investment, attract foreign investments, highlight promising opportunities, and enable partners and supporters to achieve their goals.
Finalists were selected from over 16,000 applicants from 151 countries, following national competitions and a global training camp with the top 250 companies. The best 100 startups will compete in the Biban 24 finals.
Launched in 2019 by Misk and GEN, the Entrepreneurship World Cup has seen participation from over 420,000 entrepreneurs from 200 countries, with total financial prizes of $4 million awarded to winners.
Sami bin Ibrahim Al-Husseini, Governor of Monsha’at, stated, “We are pleased to host the Entrepreneurship World Cup again in Riyadh. Entrepreneurship is the cornerstone of our economy, and we proudly aim to make a positive impact globally by equipping future enterprises and entrepreneurs with the tools needed for a prosperous tomorrow.”
