To foster innovation and support entrepreneurship in the financial sector, the Social Development Bank has launched the *FintechHub* program. This initiative is in partnership with the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the Empretec program, with support from “Fintech Saudi.” It is the first of its kind globally through the Empretec Center, targeting the empowerment of future leaders in financial technology.
The program took place from September 8 to 12 in Riyadh, aiming to enhance financial technology innovation by creating a comprehensive economic ecosystem that supports ambitious entrepreneurs and startups. Participants gained access to the latest trends in financial technology, equipping them with the knowledge and tools needed for sustainable success.
FintechHub focuses on nurturing innovation in financial technology by fostering a supportive economic environment for startups and entrepreneurs. The program provided participants with opportunities to learn about cutting-edge financial technology trends and acquire the skills necessary to develop their projects successfully.
This initiative reflects the bank’s collaboration with various partners and supporters in the financial technology sector, including “Fintech Saudi,” which plays a crucial role in strengthening the fintech ecosystem in the Kingdom. The program is also backed by certified trainers from the Empretec program and global fintech entrepreneurs.
Participants were exposed to the latest technologies and innovations to stay ahead in the market, learning how to create effective and sustainable business models that meet consumer needs and drive economic growth. The program also offered networking opportunities with other entrepreneurs and industry leaders who were present to provide support and share their expertise.
