The Social Development Bank has launched the FintechHub program in collaboration with the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the Empretec program, and with support from Fintech Saudi. This groundbreaking initiative aims to empower future leaders in financial technology.
Held in Riyadh from September 8 to 12, FintechHub focuses on fostering innovation in financial technology by developing a comprehensive economic ecosystem that supports startups and ambitious entrepreneurs. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the latest trends in fintech and were equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to develop their projects and achieve sustainable success.
This program reflects the bank’s collaboration with various partners in the fintech sector, including Fintech Saudi, which plays a crucial role in enhancing the fintech ecosystem in the Kingdom. The program is supported by certified trainers from the Empretec program and global fintech entrepreneurs, enabling participants to stay ahead of market developments and learn how to create effective and sustainable business models that meet consumer needs and drive economic growth.
The bank offers a range of financial and non-financial services, including savings awareness programs, capacity-building initiatives, and workshops for entrepreneurs and small business owners. These efforts aim to empower target groups in their developmental and social activities, improve production efficiency, and enhance economic participation, ultimately striving for comprehensive and sustainable developmental empowerment of a vibrant and productive community.
