The Saudi General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha’at) has disclosed that the ongoing training initiatives spearheaded by the SME Academy have expanded to encompass 100 distinct training programs. These programs have been carefully crafted to meet the diverse needs of entrepreneurs and business owners across various sectors.
Intended to enhance their market access, manage existing projects more effectively, and boost their competitive capabilities, a recent statement revealed that over 120,000 beneficiaries have taken advantage of the SME Academy’s ongoing programs across all regions of the country.
These training programs have been instrumental in transferring knowledge and expertise in business planning, management, and development. They are designed to prepare entrepreneurs and business owners, highlight available opportunities, and reduce the risks associated with strategic planning for launching entrepreneurial ventures.
In the past two years, the Academy has offered a variety of programs including training camps, workshops, and self-paced e-learning modules to cater to the varied needs of businesses from the ideation stage to growth across various sectors. The Academy’s programs are categorized into several business areas, such as technology, innovation, strategic planning, sales, marketing, financial management, human resources management, franchising, e-commerce, and retail.
